Your Courage Will Break You Through All Barriers in Business….In Life!
Even today after a long career in the Army and quite a few years in business there are times when I have to “muster” my courage to take action on things where I lack confidence. Here is the test of leadership that even the strongest leader may call upon from time to time.
Courage is a mental quality that recognizes fear of danger, criticism, or failure, but still enables a person to proceed in the face of this fear with calmness and firmness. That butterfly feeling may be in the pit of the stomach, but the leader still takes action.
Personally, I have found that one of the biggest challenges for myself with my online business was to try things where I felt inadequate but knew that the only way I would ever gain success was to go ahead and do it regardless of failure. Courage displayed by action is your best friend regardless of failure. And, sometimes your courage is called upon in other circumstances…
Courage: Always Do The Right Thing…
Knowing and standing for what is right, even in the face of popular disfavor, is often the leader’s circumstance. In the competition of business, it is like battlefield and your message must always be true to the consumer. It takes courage to say no to some of these marketing techniques that may be working but somewhat deceptive. It takes courage to only sell what is good for the consumer and not be lured by a product or service that sells but has questionable value.
Decide that you will succeed. Become a leader and muster your courage to try what needs to be done and always do the right thing! Have courage!
