#10 JUSTICE

Justice is defined as imparting fair reward or punishment as a leader for subordinate actions.  This is true; however, reward and punishment is much to simple a definition. The quality of displaying fairness and impartiality when it is expected from the individuals involved  is critical in order to gain the trust and respect of subordinates, and maintain discipline and organizational cohesion, particularly in the exercise of responsibility as a leader.

As leader, keep in mind that all people are connected. So when justice is required it is as if you are making a right decision for yourself- we are connected, your subordinates are a part of you. Calm your mind and let the just decision take form without stressful thinking. The good in you will do the right thing when you consider the love you should have for yourself and your team. Remember, your team is a part of you and there is no need to let ego play any role in your imparting justice.
