Money is Just an Idea…But How Can We Get More of This Idea?

I listen to Bob Proctor every day. I subscribe to his Six Minutes to Success program and I must say that it helps me in many ways. His ideas give me pause to think in a critical way how to improve my life. Not just in earning money, but in balancing all aspects of my life. The one central point that I have learned from Bob Proctor is that money allows us to remove many obstacles to live a fulfilling and balanced life. The key is to understand what money truly represents.

Money isn’t really the paper it is printed on or the plastic that we embed our account numbers on. Money is just an idea, a representation of value. Money is attracted to value. When you provide value, you attract money. Sometimes people provide perceived value and attract money. Here is where balance in life can get out of balance. On a personal basis, I could never provide just a perceived value. What I do and market must have more value than the money represents.

When I got this last lesson on money from Bob, I thought about how it is that I am not selling and making as much money as I want. Why is it that even though I have some great value to offer, not many are buying? There is only one answer. Marketing. Success in business or sales starts with effective marketing. The message has to be appealing. The message has to hit the right buying buttons giving the consumer what they want. This is where I must focus.

I see how the successful marketers sell their products and services online and some sell information on this very subject. Some of it worthless; yet, I bought it! Perceived value again. They knew how to structure the message to get me to buy. What I have been doing wrong is structuring the message in a way that I like to buy. No hype and just truth. I cannot change that. I have to figure out a way to get my message out in a way that I can live with  and still appeal to the consumer hitting their buying buttons. It is a fact of marketing life that we have to use buying psychology in order to get people to buy. The trick for me is to do it in a way that does not compromise my own values.

I share this with you because I know there has to be many people just like me that are searching for a way to gain more abundance in their lives and just need a little help to market their products and services. I suggest that you study ad copy of the great marketers out there like Jay Abraham and also the material that gets you to buy. I have many books and courses and having them helps but what is slowly making the difference for me is trying and testing ad copy that uses marketing psychology and my value system. I could make this go faster, but I will figure out how to combine these two principles with success.

You can do the same. Give it some thought. Take a 7 Day Free Test Drive of Bob Proctors’ Six Minutes to Success. This program could make a huge difference in your life. I never had a blog until Bob Proctor gave me this idea. With some thought, I have it going now and it helps my business. That is just one positive result of many that I attribute to this program.
