Nothing Like Making a Sale or Getting a New Distributor!

If you are a sales person, a network marketer or online marketer, you know what I mean. The thrill and feeling of accomplishment is well worth all the mental hardship that it sometimes takes to get the sale.

How often do we toil in the trenches working hard and growing frustrated and then…when you do everything right and you truly communicate with the prospect physically or digitally, the spark ignites the sale.

This whole message centers around a principle that is so important for sales and marketing success:

Persistence!

When you have knowledge, a burning desire for success and a definite plan, persistence takes you to the goal line!

My favorite motivator and self improvement expert is Bob Proctor. Bob has a program that I subscribe to Six Minutes to Success which gives me a daily shot of great information to keep my mind active and focused on my vision. The program is an evolution of the great book by Napoleon Hill, Think and Grow Rich.

Persistence gets a lot of attention in Hill’s book and I would like to share the essential elements to help make persistence second nature. You must develop:

1. A definite purpose backed by a burning desire for its fulfillment.
2. A definite plan expressed in continuous action.
3. A mind closed tightly against all negative and discouraging influences including negative suggestions of relatives, friends and acquaintances.
4. A friendly alliance with one or more persons who will encourage one to follow-through with both plans and purpose.

What do you think would happen if you followed these four principles each day? I know what it has done for me over the years and whenever I falter with persistence, there goes in commensurate value my production!
